Finlandから来ている友人のKonstaさんと風鈴を作ってきました！
フィンランドでガラス作品を作っている彼、日本の風鈴に興味を持っていて、今回石垣でも琉球グラスの風鈴を作っていていましたが、
今日は私も一緒に江戸風鈴の制作体験をしてきました。
I made Fu-ring with my friend Konsta who is from Finland!
He is a glass artist in Finland and has been interested in Japanese Fu-ring (wind chimes), and he was making Ryukyu Glass Fu-rings in Ishigaki this time,
Today, I joined him in making Edo-style Fu-ring.
篠原まるよし風鈴工房
ガラスのパイプの先につけた熱いガラスを回しながら吹くのですが、これが難しい！
２回失敗して、３回目は工房の篠原さんが回してくださり、私たちは吹くだけ。
でもそれも吹く強さによって変わってしまうので簡単ではありませんでした！
完成したものは少し斜めになってますが、まあいいでしょう！
絵付けもしました。内側から描くのがこれまた難しい。
シンプルなものにしたいと思ったので白で鳥を描いて、その下に海をイメージした青を描きました。
工房で売られているものは油性絵の具で描かれていますが、私達は水彩の絵の具で描きました。
昔、修学旅行で風鈴を作ったのですが、父がすぐに落として割ってしまって、その時は本当にショックでした。
もうどんなものを作ったのかも忘れてしまっていたので、今回また体験して作ることができて良かったです！
今度は壊さないようにしたいな。
でも篠原さんは、壊れてしまったとしても、それは私の代わりに厄を落としてくれているので、悪いことではないとおっしゃっていました。

You have to blow hot glass attached to the end of a glass pipe while turning it, but this is difficult!
After two failed tries, Mr. Shinohara of the studio turned the glass for the third time, and we only had to blow.
But it was not easy, as it depended on the strength of the blow!
The finished product is a bit skewed, but that's okay!
We also painted. Painting from the inside is also difficult.
I wanted to keep it simple, so I painted the bird in white, and painted blue under it, which inspired the sea.
The ones sold at the workshop are painted with oil-based paints, but we painted ours with watercolors.
I made a wind chime on a school trip a long time ago, but my father dropped it soon after and broke it, which was a real shock to me at the time.
I had already forgotten what I had made, so I was glad to be able to experience and make it again this time!
I hope I don't break it this time.
But Mr. Shinohara said that even if I broke it, it was not a bad thing, because it was dropping the bad luck for me.
